Adding a small logo in the upper-left corner

by NGO-bg Team

To place a logo in the upper-left corner of your site helps visitors to identify your site quickly and to provide a link to the home page of the site.

The simplest way to add a logo is to add "attach a document" in the top-level section of your site. This means that you can have a different logo for every language of your site.

The document should have the following caracteristics:

- To have a title starting with "logo", ex: "logo - My Site"
- To have the dimensions no larger than 165 pixels and 84 pixels high, otherwise it will break the size of the colums and of the title (alternative solutions are welcomed).

For example, on the website Social Rights Bulgaria, there are different logo for English and for Bulgarian. This means that the sections:

- 10. Social Rights Bulgaria
- 20. Социални права България

each have an attached document.

Important: By default, Spip does not allow to attach documents to sections, but only to articles. You can change this configuration in the Site configuration -> The site's content -> (scroll down) Attached documents: Select Authorise documents in the sections, then click on Submit.

For more information, consult Spip’s manual.
